a gay face

Salvator Mundi, saviour of the world, a recently authenticated Leonardo da Vinci painting, costed at $150 million, was this a self-portrait? The face has a sensibility full of world weary dignity, is it a gay sensibility shining forth, from under 50 layers of varnish??

  1. Steadfast says:

So many of the faces Leonardo daV painted seem to be the same face and some have opined that they are all self portraits done at different stage of his life. Take the beard off this one and it could be Mona Lisa. Event the Shroud of Turin is argued to be an image of Leonardo and an early experiment with the development process of photography.

    So — gay gay everywhere.

    • I’d like someone to take seriously the scenario that Leonardo managed a type of photography on the shroud of Turin; it must have been an allover, head to foot job with the help of assistants for the wrapping… Watching Monday’s Art program 9,30pm? To see the above work investigated, cleaned, perused??
