Eddy-Avenue 2Remember the railway overpass at Eddy Avenue, Central Sydney in the early 1970’s. The USA & Australia were at war with the Viet Cong; the Soviets had just invaded Czechoslovakia, 1968; some wit conflated both events and graffitied the overpass:

US-Czech-So-Viet-Nam.

It was a witty portmanteau concept.
